(To Students;

I use a communicative semi informal style, based on a solid factual linguistic basis, aimed at getting students to reciprocate and talk for at least 50% of the time, rather than using a teacher-student dominated style where the teacher does most of the talking. . I also regard fluency as more important than 100 % accuracy and - as long as both the student(s) and I are essentially on track - encourage them to make as few pauses as possible and not constantly stop or reflect on whether what they've said is exactly right. An acceptable degree of accuracy is of course necessary but should not halt the flow of the lesson.
