I am a QTS-qualified teacher (Bachelor of Education primary/secondary and masters) with 35 years of teaching experience and an Enhanced DBS, offering individual tuition for children preparing for:
• 11+ entrance examinations
• Grammar school entrance
• Independent school entrance
• English & Maths
• Verbal and non-verbal reasoning
• Exam technique and confidence-building
My approach is tailored to each child. I assess their strengths and weaknesses and then build a structured programme around what they specifically need to improve.
I have particular experience helping children develop confidence and working through mindset roadblocks preventing them from performing at their best, problem-solving skills, comprehension, writing and mathematical reasoning, rather than simply working through endless exam papers.
Home tuition available in Chiswick and Acton November to February.
£70-£100 per hour.
Limited part-time places available.
