My lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, and supportive, while also encouraging children to think independently and build confidence in their abilities. I believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process, so I use a variety of interactive activities that make lessons enjoyable and meaningful. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.
During my lessons, I use a range of hands-on materials and practical resources to support learning. This may include games, visual aids, manipulatives, worksheets, flashcards, whiteboards, and creative activities. I place a strong emphasis on learning through doing, as using hands-on materials helps children to better understand concepts, particularly in areas such as literacy and numeracy. I also adapt my teaching style to suit each child’s individual needs, learning style, and pace.
With my background as a qualified primary school teacher, I have experience working with children of different ages and abilities, including those who may need extra support or confidence-building. I focus on developing key skills such as problem-solving, communication, and independent thinking, while keeping lessons structured and purposeful. Above all, I strive to make learning enjoyable, motivating, and rewarding, helping each student to reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging way.
