I am a lawyer and linguist. I have more that 7 years of experience in teaching Spanish and Portuguese to online students. I encouragemy students to speak from the first lesson. I focus a lot in pronuntiation because I believe is not very much worked by other teachers, while is incredibly important to understand native speakers and make yourself understand.
I try to convey grammar rules in a way that is useful for the students as well as reading small texts so they can find the grammar being applied naturally.
As I have learnt other languages myself I am very patient and focus on the difficulties we have as learners, and also in giving tips of how to improve. I can make grammar comparisons between Spanish and other languages I have learnt (English and European Portuguese).
