My online lessons are engaging, well-structured, and carefully designed to meet the needs of all learners in a virtual environment. I aim to create a positive and supportive space where students feel confident to participate, ask questions, and stay motivated, even when learning remotely. I use PowerPoint presentations to introduce and model new concepts clearly, ensuring that visual aids support understanding and help maintain focus during online sessions.

I break all lessons down into clear stages: input, shared learning, and an independent task. During the input, I introduce the learning objective and explain key ideas using clear modelling and examples. This is followed by shared learning, where students are encouraged to participate through discussion, questioning, and interactive activities such as chat responses or collaborative tasks. Finally, students move on to an independent task, allowing them to apply their understanding, with support provided where needed.

My online lessons are interactive and inclusive, incorporating a range of strategies such as targeted questioning, visual resources, and opportunities for students to respond and engage throughout. I am mindful of maintaining pace and variety to keep learners focused and motivated. I also provide clear instructions and feedback to ensure students feel supported in their learning.

With experience teaching across a wide range of age groups and in diverse settings, including internationally, I am confident in adapting my teaching to suit an online format and meet a variety of learning needs, including those of students with English as an Additional Language. Overall, my online lessons are structured, engaging, and supportive, helping every learner to make progress and feel successful, regardless of location.
