My lessons are structured around each student's individual goals, whether that's improving confidence, mastering difficult topics, or achieving top grades in exams. I begin by identifying areas of strength and weakness, then create a personalised learning plan to target key topics.
During lessons, I use clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice to help students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. I also make use of a range of resources, including tailored worksheets, interactive learning materials, and past paper questions to reinforce learning and improve exam technique.
As a Biomedical Engineering student at Imperial College London, I have a strong mathematical background and understand the challenges students can face when studying maths. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and engaging, with a focus on building confidence, encouraging independent problem-solving, and helping students achieve their full potential.
