Maths with a Beat: Engaging, Step-by-Step Tuition
I believe that Maths is best learned when it’s heard, seen, and enjoyed. As a PGCE-qualified teacher, I combine my professional training with a creative, high-energy approach to help students build genuine confidence in their abilities.
I often like to move away from the "chalk and talk" method. My lessons are dynamic and structured around the individual. I have a particular passion for integrating music and rhythm into my teaching—whether it’s using beats to master times tables or rhythm to understand sequences. This makes the "scary" parts of Maths far more memorable and much less intimidating.

My Approach:
• I specialise in deconstructing complex topics into simple, bite-sized steps. We don't move on until the foundation is solid.
• Every session is interactive. We use visual aids, real-world examples, and plenty of "check-ins" to ensure you’re following along.
• With my PGCE background, I have a deep understanding of curriculum requirements and exam techniques, ensuring every lesson is purposeful.
Whether you are struggling with the basics or aiming for the top grades, my goal is to strip away the stress and replace it with lightbulb moments. I try my best to make Maths accessible, logical, and—most importantly—fun.
