I have tried many methods of learning, so I know that learning effectively in a style that works for you will get you so much further than pouring hours of your time into methods that don't work for you. Everyone learns differently, and my aim is to find what works well for you and cut down on those wasted hours spent learning or revising where nothing is retained. It's incredibly important to make the best use of your time possible, especially in the run up to exams when time is short and the pressure is on.
My lessons will be focused on understanding your required topics, problem solving within those topics, exam technique and communicating your knowledge when it matters. It's important not just to have the required knowledge but to be able to communicate that effectively and efficiently. I will often ask you to explain your answers and how you got there to check that you know how you got it right and could do it again with a similar problem. Explaining a question or concept to someone is one of the best ways to not only practice exam technique, but to build a strong foundation in your communication of the topic, and to build confidence in your own knowledge.
I know first-hand how stressful exams and tests can be, and I can help with tips and tricks I used to make sure I was still able to achieve the results I needed under pressure, so you can do the same.
