My lessons are structured but flexible, built around each student's pace and learning style rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I typically start by understanding what the student already knows and where they're struggling, then build a simple, step-by-step explanation of the topic before moving into practice questions we work through together. I use plenty of real-world examples to make abstract Maths, Physics, and Chemistry concepts easier to relate to, and I encourage questions throughout rather than saving them for the end.
Each session usually includes a quick recap of the previous lesson, new content broken into manageable chunks, guided practice, and a short review to check understanding before we finish. I keep a close eye on progress over time, so lessons build on each other rather than feeling repetitive.
I bring over a year of classroom teaching experience at Careland Children's School, along with prior experience teaching Maths and Physics during my National Youth Service, and ongoing one-on-one online tutoring in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics since January 2025. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or building confidence in a subject they find difficult, I focus on making sure they leave each lesson understanding the "why," not just the "how."
