I currently live in Glasgow, Scotland. I received a Master's degree in English language in one of the best universities in Ukraine and have more than 20 years' experience in teaching English and interpreting while travelling to different countries. Not being a native speaker of English myself but having a proficient level of the language due to my big experience, I perfectly understand what challenges my students can face and, therefore, can help overcome them.
I conduct my lessons online using a variety of learning platforms, such as Skype, Zoom, Meet etc. I always try to make my lessons fascinating and encourage my students to speak confidently, that's why I include various activities in my lessons, including watching, listening, and gamification. For me, the most important thing in learning any language is the ability to speak fearlessly and correctly, and understand what others say. So, my priorities are definitely listening and speaking together with clear understanding of grammar. Besides, I want my students to clearly understand why they learn English and what they want to achieve in the end. We usually work in cooperation, and it helps them to succeed.
