My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and ability. I tutor students from primary level up to GCSE maths through online one-to-one sessions, creating a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner and help them progress at their own pace.
In my lessons, I use clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions, and interactive problem-solving techniques to help students fully understand topics rather than simply memorising methods. I focus on making maths feel approachable and less overwhelming, especially for students who may struggle with confidence or motivation. I also support students with homework, exam preparation, revision strategies, and improving weaker areas step by step.
My experience as a Maths Teaching Assistant at Aspen Heights British School allowed me to support students in both one-to-one and small group settings. I helped students review mock exam papers, strengthen problem-solving skills, and reinforce classroom learning through personalised support and guidance. This experience helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills, which I bring into every lesson to help students feel motivated, supported, and proud of their progress.
I aim to create a positive learning experience where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing confidence in maths. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students become more independent, motivated, and confident learners over time.
