I offer online GCSE and A-level Maths lessons, with clear explanations and plenty of exam-question practice. My approach is straightforward: identify what you’re struggling with, explain it clearly, then help you practise until you can tackle questions independently.

I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A* in A-level Maths after completing the course in just one year, a year early. I’m now studying A-level Further Maths. I also spent a year mentoring GCSE Maths students, gaining experience explaining ideas and helping students work through questions.

Having recently sat the exams myself, I understand the importance of both knowing the content and applying it under exam conditions. I focus on explaining why a method works, rather than just giving you steps to memorise. This helps you adapt when a question looks different from the examples you’ve practised.

Lessons will usually begin with a short recap or a few questions to identify gaps. We’ll then work through examples together before you try questions yourself, with guidance when needed. We’ll use exam questions to develop problem-solving skills, practise showing clear working and understand where marks are awarded.

The pace and content will depend on your needs, whether you’re building confidence, catching up on a topic or aiming for the highest grades. You’re welcome to bring questions or topics from school. I want lessons to feel focused and approachable, so you can ask whenever something doesn’t make sense.
