Since I was very young (being bilingual in French and Spanish and now almost in English) I had fun recognizing the idiomatic differences of each language. And this same fun and curiosity for discovering languages I tried to keep as much as possible when teaching. And to put it into practice so that the language can also be a door to a different culture, or a new way of seeing things. Taking maximum advantage of these tools is what makes me enjoy this work every day. There are obviously a lot of theoretical concepts to put into practice, but supporting people who are eager to learn is always very rewarding. Seeing them enjoy learning and making progress day by day gives a certain meaning; it helps you feel useful. And even if today this is done most of the time on the internet, the human side is very important. Having empathy and understanding everyone's needs is something that goes beyond teaching and that interests me a lot as well.
