Hello! I am Nicolás, a native Spanish tutor from Colombia.

My lessons are conversational and dynamic, built around your specific goals rather than a rigid syllabus. Each session is tailored to your level, your pace, and the context in which you want to use Spanish: whether that's everyday conversation, academic writing, or professional communication.
My background is what makes my approach distinctive.

I hold a postgraduate degree in Philosophy and also studied Spanish .iterature during my Undergraduate studies. I studied for five years at a German university entirely in a second language, and I work professionally as a translator across Spanish, English, and German. I know firsthand what it takes to operate in a foreign language at a high level and I bring that lived experience into every lesson.

My specialty is however business Spanish: helping students develop the fluency and confidence to communicate effectively in corporate environments. This means we don't just cover grammar and vocabulary we explore the cultural codes, registers, and regional conventions that make the difference between sounding competent and sounding truly credible. I can tailor lessons to a specific Spanish-speaking region, whether you need the Spanish of Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, or beyond.

Outside of the classroom, I am a political commentator with over 16,000 followers on X (Twitter) and a podcast co-host who has interviewed presidential candidates, so I know how to make complex ideas accessible and engaging! That same instinct shapes how I teach: clear, stimulating, and always relevant to the real world.
