My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, with a strong focus on improving both understanding and exam technique.

Sessions are delivered online and typically last 60 minutes. Each lesson follows a clear format to help students build confidence and make consistent progress. We begin with a short recap of previous learning, followed by a clear explanation of key concepts, and then move on to practising exam-style questions together.

I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, including understanding command words, structuring answers, and recognising how marks are awarded. This is often where students can make the biggest improvements in a short period of time.

My teaching style is calm and supportive, and I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel able to ask questions and build confidence. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and guide students through questions so they can develop their problem-solving skills.

I have experience working in a secondary school as both a Science Teacher and a Science Technician, as well as supporting students through tutoring. This means I am familiar with the GCSE curriculum and understand the common challenges students face.

My lessons are suitable for students studying GCSE Combined Science and Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), whether they are aiming to pass, improve their confidence, or achieve higher grades. I can also provide support for GCSE Maths where needed.
