My lessons are friendly, structured, and designed to make computer science feel clear and achievable, even if you’re starting from zero. I believe that confidence comes first, so I focus on explaining concepts in plain English before gradually introducing technical language and practical skills.
Each lesson follows a clear format. We usually begin with a short recap of what we covered previously, making sure everything still makes sense. I then introduce new material in small, manageable steps, using real-world examples and analogies to bring abstract ideas to life. After that, we move into guided practice, where we work through problems or tasks together, and finally independent practice, where I support you while you apply what you’ve learned yourself. I always leave time at the end for questions and reflection.
The content of my lessons depends on your goals. I teach core computer science foundations such as how computers work, networking basics, algorithms, logic, and problem-solving, as well as practical skills like using operating systems, understanding hardware, and beginner-friendly coding concepts. Lessons can be adapted for school support, exam preparation, career change, or general digital confidence.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and encouraging. There is no pressure to “keep up” or pretend you understand something — if something isn’t clear, we slow down and approach it a different way. I have experience learning computer science as an adult and transitioning into tech myself, so I understand the common sticking points and frustrations learners face.
