I'm a data, technology and digital skills teacher who loves empowering people to feel confident learning subjects.

I have taught Computing/Data analytics/Digital skills to learners from secondary school level right through to further education and workplace settings. I have prepared and taught lessons on Python, SQL, Power BI, statistics and practical data analysis. I have supported students with their coursework as they work towards Computing/Data qualifications. I have also created lessons with step-by-step guides, practical exercises & case studies which show learners how things are used in the workplace. In my teaching sessions, I start by explaining topics in a way that is easy to understand. I break down tasks into small steps and show learners examples before asking them to complete tasks during my lessons to practise what they have learned. I ask lots of questions to ensure learners have understood what we have covered in my sessions, and allow time for questions and reflection to ensure they are comfortable with the topic before ending the session. I aim to deliver my lessons in a supportive and structured way that allows learners not only to gain the required knowledge but also to solve problems and correct errors, enabling them to achieve in their learning
