I have taught English as a Freogn language in a variety of situations form teaching on a one to one basis at the home of students to teaching in a foral classroom in a college of further education. I have also hasd experience teaching key skills to sutdents form oeverseas to resident native student adults with learning difficulties.
In addition I have taught Key Skills in a colleges of Further Education plus Business and Managment Studies, where the lesson were sdesigned to meet the requirements of professional institutions. The sudents were both young people and full time working adults.
My lessons will have have a basic structure, generally starting off with a short recap of the previous lesson endeavouring to clear up any questions that may have arisen. The objectives of the lesson, with an outine of the lesson format will then be explained. This will have been preceded with a scheme of work at the start of the course so that the students should be able to anticipate what to expect prior to each lesson.
Lesson will be student centered designed to meet the needs of each individual .
This means that the students' participation will be important to the success of the lesson I like to aim for a lively lesson that wiill be fun for both teacher and student . Student feedback and participation is essential in ensuring that the learning process is successful and in many ways it should be a learning experience for both the tutor and the student.
