Bonjour!

Salut!

My name is Nesrin and I'm a medical student at Imperial College London. Outside of my university life, I enjoy doing sports and baking. During secondary school I have participated in the French Translation Bee competitions for two consecutive years, finishing 1st in the Regional Finals and 3rd in the National Final. Hopefully this is enough to convey my passion for the French language!

So, why do I want to be a tutor?

Well firstly, I understand that learning a language can be difficult, but it doesn't have to be. My role is to deliver the content in an engaging manner that will allow you too to develop a passion for the French language. Secondly, I enjoy interacting with people and having worked with both children and adults it would be a pleasure to have a similar experience as a tutor.

Whether you are interested in learning French for the first time, or looking for support with GCSE French, you have come to the right person!

There is no 'one size fits all' approach to learning a language but together we will establish the right strategy for you. The first lesson will involve identifying your current level and establishing some targets for improvement.

Immersing yourself in a language is really the best way to learn. Below are some materials we will use to aid with understanding, and of course make the lessons engaging.

- role-play speaking scenarios

We will be covering content from 5 key components of the French language and these are the skills that will be assessed.
- vocabulary
- writing
- reading
- speaking
- listening

Lessons should typically last 1 hour, however this is open for discussion depending on your age and current level.
