I offer focused, supportive lessons designed to help students succeed in their SATs with flying colours.

My sessions are structured and tailored to each student’s needs. We usually begin with a quick starter to review previous learning, followed by clear explanations of a specific topic (such as fractions, arithmetic, or reasoning skills for Maths and SPAG for english). I break concepts down step-by-step to make them easy to understand, then guide students through practice questions, gradually increasing difficulty.

A strong focus is placed on SATs-style questions, so students become familiar with the format, wording, and problem-solving techniques required. I also teach useful strategies such as showing working clearly, checking answers, and managing time effectively in the test.

Lessons are interactive and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions and build confidence. I use a mix of practice papers, targeted exercises, and quick quizzes to track progress and address any gaps in understanding.

Using past papers it will allow me to give an in-depth analysis of typical questions that pop up it SAT papers and how they can be tackled giving them confidence and courage when eventually sitting the paper.

I have experience helping students improve their overall skills and confidence, and I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

I aim to be seen as a friend rather than a teacher to allow my students to feel comfortable and open without having the stress of making mistakes and allowing them to learn from their mistakes rather than for the mistakes to be frowned upon and being in a similar age range to them it allows me to achieve that which makes the learning experience unique and different from most. From my experience this helps many students gain confidence and helps them understand and learn the subject rather than disliking it and failing to learn from it.
