Hi! I’m a recent A-Level graduate offering online tutoring in GCSE Maths, Biology, and Chemistry.

I achieved grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Further Maths at GCSE, along with an A in AS Further Maths, and I am currently predicted 3 A*s in my A-Levels. I also have experience tutoring GCSE students both at school and in my local area, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance.

My teaching approach is focused on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. I aim to break down even the most challenging topics into simple, step-by-step explanations so that students understand the underlying concepts rather than just memorising methods. I often re-explain ideas in different ways until they click, as I understand that everyone learns differently.

A key part of my tutoring is exam technique. I regularly use exam-style questions and past paper practice to help students become familiar with question formats, mark schemes, and how to structure answers for maximum marks. I also focus on identifying common mistakes and misconceptions so students can avoid losing easy marks in exams.

Lessons are interactive rather than passive. I ask questions throughout to check understanding, encourage active participation, and ensure students are engaging with the material rather than just listening. This helps build long-term confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

Each session is tailored to the student’s individual needs, whether they want to strengthen core understanding, catch up on difficult topics, or push from a pass to top grades. I adapt my pace and teaching style depending on the student, making sure lessons are both supportive and effective.

My goal is to help students build genuine understanding and confidence in Maths and Science, with a focus on steady, lasting improvement.
