Over 20 years experience of teaching students how to achieve the highest grades at A Level and GCSE History. Specialist in AQA and Edexcel exam boards but any specifications considered. Expertise in Nazi Germany, Cold War, The Tudors, Britain-USA-Medicine through Time, Power and the People but all topics considered.

My lessons are delivered in a friendly, accessible manner. I am quick to adapt my style and resources to students' individual needs. I use a range of media to support a structured approach to an hour slot and always aim for a tangible out come for each session - whether that's exam question practice, creation of a revision resource or a self assessment to inform future direction of study, students will feel like they have a valuable takeaway each time.

It is very useful to have some examples of student's work in advance so that i can diagnose key areas to target. That way lessons can be customised to individual needs.
