Natalija Zazerska

I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher with 15 years of experience giving private English lessons, particularly to adult beginners. I am a native Russian speaker and speak English and French fluently. I also hold a DALF qualification in French.

I enjoy working with beginners and explaining languages in a clear, practical and patient way. I believe that something which initially seems complicated becomes much easier when it is broken down into logical steps.

For English, I can help adult learners build confidence in speaking, reading, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. If necessary, I can explain difficult points in Russian or French.

I also teach Russian reading from complete beginner level, starting with the Cyrillic alphabet and gradually progressing to words, sentences and texts.

For French, I specialise in reading and pronunciation. Having learned French myself as a speaker of another language, I understand the difficulties learners face. Over the years I have developed a systematic approach to French spelling and pronunciation that helps students recognise patterns and work out how unfamiliar words should be read.

My lessons are friendly and adapted to the individual student. Complete beginners are very welcome, and I am always happy to explain something again or approach it in a different way if necessary.
