Nanthini Thangaraj

I have two years of experience working as a lecturer in India, where I supported students in their learning and helped them develop their knowledge and skills. After moving to Scotland, I volunteered in a primary school as a Support for Learning Worker, helping children with their learning and literacy development. I currently work as an Early Years Support Worker in nursery settings, supporting young children's communication, language, and overall development.

I use a student centred approach, adapting my teaching methods to suit each learner's age, ability, interests, and learning goals. My lessons include clear explanations, examples, reading activities, writing exercises, and interactive discussions.
I focus on English language, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and English Literature. I adapt the content to support learners with schoolwork, improve communication skills, and develop a deeper understanding of literature.

I create a friendly, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas. I use practical examples, engaging activities, and regular feedback to make lessons enjoyable and effective. I encourage students to participate actively, build confidence, and learn at their own pace.

My experience in teaching, primary school support, and early years education has helped me develop patience, effective communication, and an understanding of different learning needs. My goal is to make learning meaningful and enjoyable while helping every student achieve their full potential.
