I will be teaching young adults and older that are struggling to communicate and carry a conversation confidently in a setting that required English to be spoken. I will work with the students at their pace with no pressure as learning is a process that needs patience and motivation. It will be a more laid back approach as I would not want the students to feel like they are back in school. Lessons will start from basic English words with assigned reading to improve vocabulary. There will be take home assignments where students will be required to read a short story and make a list of words they would like to explore and find the meanings of those words and then put them in a sentence. This would help improve vocabulary and knowledge of what these English words mean. Students will also be engaged in dialogue to improve conversational skills.
