Tutoring is a unique experience. Every student has a different approach to learning. A solid understanding of this is the key to a successful outcome and to helping students achieve their potential. I would understand the strengths and weaknesses of each student to help them attain the best learning experience by using various revision aids, including auditory, verbal, and visual aids. I would set tasks to test the student's progression and focus on any areas the student may find difficult to understand. I will have regular discussions with the student and their parents regarding how they feel they are progressing, and by working through past papers. One of my key areas of focus is essay writing and structure. I am particularly skilled at helping students improve their essay planning and writing. I break the structure down clearly, model paragraphs, and provide individual feedback, enhancing students' overall confidence.
