About me

As a current grammar school student, I offer a supportive and structured approach to tutoring, grounded in first-hand experience of the 11+, SATs, and the Key Stage 1–3 curriculum. I understand the pressure young students can face, and I use proven techniques—such as active recall, time management strategies, and step-by-step breakdowns—that helped me succeed and now help my students do the same....
As a current grammar school student, I offer a supportive and structured approach to tutoring, grounded in first-hand experience of the 11+, SATs, and the Key Stage 1–3 curriculum. I understand the pressure young students can face, and I use proven techniques—such as active recall, time management strategies, and step-by-step breakdowns—that helped me succeed and now help my students do the same. My lessons are carefully planned, beginning with a short recap, followed by clear teaching and targeted practice. I adapt each session to suit the learner’s pace and needs, whether that’s building confidence in core skills or preparing intensively for an exam. I tutor in maths, English, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning, always aiming to make learning approachable and manageable. I’ve supported a wide range of students, and so far, every student I’ve worked with has successfully passed their 11+ or SATs exams. More importantly, they’ve come away feeling confident, more independent, and ready for the next stage of their education. I create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn from mistakes. I genuinely care about helping students reach their potential—not just by improving marks, but by helping them enjoy learning and feel proud of their progress. With a strong grasp of the curriculum, a personal understanding of the exams, and a proven track record of success, I’m committed to helping every student thrive.
