Molly Cajkler

After having been passionate for French for the past 10 years, I have decided to share my passion and skills with those who are trying to improve their French. For the past 3 years, I have worked and volunteered in secondary schools as a French specialist teaching assistance and have been able to work closely with students of all abilities, in groups but also in 1-1 settings. In sessions, I have covered a large array of bases needed for exam preparation, as well as conversational French, including key grammar points and vocabulary. I have a profound interest and appreciation for French grammar, and through 1-1 sessions with students I have had the ability to hone in on how I teach and explain certain points to different abilities. When working on exam skills for the different papers at GCSE and A-Level, accuracy is one of my biggest strengths and this is passed onto my students. The ability to not only understand something to pass an exam, but to understand what is happening in the context of the language is something in which I pride myself. I have a range of resources, especially for grammar points, but also for vocabulary work, so I can offer my students a range of tasks in order for them to understand at their own ability. French is a wonderful language that opens the door to endless possibilities, in both personal and professional ways, and the ability to share my own knowledge and understanding of the language with students is a great privilege.
