I am a qualified Science teacher with QTS and over two years of classroom teaching experience, alongside eight years of private tutoring. My background allows me to combine the structure and expertise of a trained teacher with the flexibility and personal approach of a one-to-one tutor.
My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin by understanding your learning style and the areas you’d like to focus on. Each session usually starts with a short recap to check prior knowledge, followed by clear, step-by-step teaching of the topic. We then work through examples together, moving towards independent practice so you can build confidence in applying what you’ve learned. Every lesson ends with a quick review and feedback, so you know exactly what progress you’ve made and what to work on next.
I cover all Sciences and Maths at KS2, KS3, and GCSE levels, with lessons ranging from building strong foundations to developing advanced exam technique. Many of my students come to me for extra support in tricky areas, while others want to stretch themselves further to achieve the top grades. Whichever the goal, I make sure lessons are engaging, motivating, and matched to your pace.
Above all, I aim to help students feel confident and capable. My approach is about more than just memorising facts, it’s about understanding, problem-solving, and building the self-belief needed to succeed. I want to invoke curiosity in all my learners and imbed self belief and self discipline to be great achievers.
