I have completed my GCSEs and have high grades in all the subjects I am offering support in. I can tutor in Mathematics, Biology and French all up to the GCSE level. I would begin the online lessons with some questions on what the student needs help with, whether it be to simply pass the subject or whether it be to achieve the higher grades. I have a very flexible schedule so I can find a time that would best suit you. When actually tutoring the student I would begin with a recall task based on the previous session. I would then continue with a teaching section where I would teach the knowledge on the particular topic that we are working on where I would make sure that the topic is explained entirely but also in a way that it is understood. I would then either spend some more time going over something that might still be confusing the student or going over some exam style questions to fully consolidate the topic. This is only a simple session plan and I am more than happy to modify the session to the students taste as people learn in many different ways.
My aim is to allow students to achieve their full potential without the strict classroom schedule and allowing the student to move past areas they find simple and spend more time on the topics they find challenging and refining exam techniques.
