If you are into anime/manga, I can breakdown sentences from there. I can give you some study methods of how you can learn from reading manga, watching anime.

I have a friendly and approachable teaching method, we can talk about anything.

The lessons are freeform and feel free to bring anything related to Japanese and match with your interests.

I will start from daily conversations and we can watch some anime to check how it's used in the show. Reading ehon (picture book for children) will be also helpful if you are new to Japanese and need to catch up with some hiragana/katakana. Soon after, you will start reading manga and start guessing the meaning of kanji. I will break down some kanji from your favourite manga series.

If you are intermediate, I will encourage you to write daily or casual sentences and can check your writings, can even help explain the tone of voice of your writing and encourage alternative/more appropriate words choices for the situation

If you are advanced, we can have some casual conversations and I can check your pronunciation and suggest more natural vocabulary. We can read some poems and or transitional novel and we can discuss about it within the lesson.

Overall my approach to teaching Japanese is one of natural progression through a wide range of Japanese culture, giving my own personal experience, living, growing up and working in Japan which enables me to provide you an authentic honest understanding of the Japanese language.
