Mihaela Coman

I am currently training to become a Secondary Spanish Teacher through a PGCE with QTS and have experience teaching Spanish to secondary school students. I also hold a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree.
My lessons are friendly, supportive and adapted to each student's individual needs. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and using the language, so I aim to create a relaxed environment where they can build their confidence in Spanish.
I can support KS3 and GCSE students with vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as homework, revision and exam preparation. I particularly enjoy helping students improve their speaking skills, pronunciation and confidence when answering questions in Spanish.
Lessons can focus on areas a student is currently finding difficult at school, preparation for an upcoming assessment, or general improvement in Spanish. For GCSE students, I can also work on exam-style activities and speaking practice.
I adapt the pace and activities according to the student's level and learning needs, explaining things clearly and breaking more difficult concepts into manageable steps. My aim is for students to leave each lesson feeling more confident and positive about their Spanish.
