GCSE Mathematics (Foundation, Higher and Furhter) and Science (Single and Triple Award) - Understanding the theory behind tricky problems is the key to success in GCSE mathematics and science, there is such a vast amount of content that memorisation becomes daunting and sections of the cirriculum are often skipped. In my previous lessons, I have made it my priority to fully breakdown challening problems into their core principles, with this backbone of knowledge, eventually every problem can be tackled and exams can be taken with ease. I have a strong understanding of exam preparation and the potential questions asked in upcoming exams. I achieved an 8 in higher GCSE mathematics myself and have helped several students attain the knowledge they need to achieve an 8 and beyond in thier exams. I have had students achieving over 80% in mock papers, with every mistake gone over maticulously. Lessons will be introduced through covering weaker topics and broadening onto exam questions. This will be done for every topic needed.

A-Level Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry - I have completed my bachelors degree in Physics from Nottingham Trent University and achieved a 2:1. A-Level mathematics, physics and chemistry are challening subjects. The examinations are challenging and the content is vast. My approach to these subjects is to fully gain a competent understanding of the theory of the topics as memorisation is tricky in the short space of time given to study. I have an extensive knowledge of the underlying theory of these three subjects, I teach this through examples and application to exam questions. This builds confidence in the tutee, ensuring that the taught principles can be applied to various questions. There are particular topics in these subjects which students find challenging. I can teach this thoroughly and again, involve exam practice into every topic. I have a thorough understanding of the type of questions which are asked and can help you properly prepare for these. The study techniques that are used for these topics are essential to gaining a good grade - I will apply methods which will work for the member both in the session and independently. Visuals, diagrams and aids will be used throughout taught sessions with guaranteed exam practice throughout them all.



Early Years Phonics, Reading and Writing - Easy to understand graphics with word breakdowns, following an effective learning plan to help young learners understand how to read, write and pronounce words. Eventually they will gain enough knowledge to tackle challenging 4, 5 and 6 letter words with tricky endings and sounds. All teaching materials are engaging, inviting and accessible for all abilities.
