I am an attentive and supportive tutor with experience helping students strengthen their understanding and improve their academic performance through structured, focused learning. I take a patient, methodological and encouraging approach, aiming to build confidence while identifying and addressing each student's individual area for improvement. My teaching method is highly structured; each session begins with a short retrieval activity from the previous week to reinforce long term memory and check retention. This is followed by guided work problem to apply knowledge in practice. I then revisit key theory to ensure understanding is solid before finishing with an independent worked problem, allowing me to accurately assess progress and highlight any misconceptions or areas that need further development. This consistent cycle helps students build mastery over time while simultaneously developing strong exam and problem solving skills.
