My lessons are friendly, engaging and carefully tailored to each child’s individual needs, interests and learning style. I primarily support primary-aged children across a range of subjects, including English, maths and wider curriculum areas.

Every child learns differently, so I begin by getting to know the learner, identifying their current strengths, areas for development and personal goals. Lessons are then planned at an appropriate level and delivered at a pace that helps the child feel comfortable, confident and successful.

Sessions may include short focused activities, practical tasks, educational games, colourful resources and real-life examples. I use a flexible approach and adapt each lesson according to the child’s engagement, confidence and progress. Regular encouragement, movement breaks and choices can also be incorporated when helpful.

My approach is nurturing, patient and child-centred, with a strong focus on building positive relationships. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, understood and valued. Alongside academic development, I aim to strengthen confidence, independence, motivation and enjoyment of learning.

I hold a degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies and have extensive experience supporting children and young people across primary education, alternative provision and residential care. I also have experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety and difficulties engaging with education.

The lessons can provide general academic support, help to close learning gaps, reinforce schoolwork or focus on specific areas that your child finds challenging. Each session is designed to make learning feel positive, achievable and relevant, while celebrating progress at every stage. ?????
