Biology:
I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE and an A* in A-level. For my biology lessons, I will ask you to let me know which topic/s you would like to go through prior to the lesson. I will start with a short overview of what we went through in our previous lesson to practice recall and to answer any queries that have arisen during studying. We will have a look at the content together and answer exam questions to put your knowledge into practice. I aim to create a casual/comfortable atmosphere in which my students are able to discuss their thought processes and are not afraid of getting things wrong. There is a lot of memorisation involved in the subject so I want to help my students come up with memorable ways to group information e.g. through creating our own acronyms.

Spanish:
I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Spanish and an A* in A-level Spanish. For my Spanish lessons, I will be teaching the language at a beginner level, starting with basic pronunciation, grammar and phrases. The lessons will be very interactive and use lots of active recall/quizzing. I like to learn about the cultures of different Spanish-speaking countries and will incorporate some of this information into my lessons.
