Maxine Correya

I am a practicing artist in pencil, paint, pastels. I have been a secondary teacher for 24 years plus tutored in person and online. I have a track record of helping students to achieve or exceed their target grades. I have delivered and assessed AQA, Edexcel, UAL qualifications.

My lessons are relaxed, managed in small chunks, and are aimed at improving your confidence in exploring different art formats. I will take it at your pace and if you don’t understand a concept, I will try to find different ways of delivering it to you.

I am currently completing courses in Art Life Coaching Skills and Autism. I am hoping these courses will help me to understand the complexities of different learning needs and to be able to support these better.
