TEACHING EXPERIENCE & APPROACH:

Maxim has served as a Piano Tutor at Aura Music Academy and as a Piano Teacher at both Maunders School of Popular Music and Rubato Music Centre in Manchester.

Prior to that, he dedicated 3 years to teaching as a Piano Teacher and Choir Accompanist at Moscow School of Arts No.14 in Russia.

His students, spanning various levels and ages from beginners to professionals, undergo comprehensive preparation for exams, concerts, and competitions, showcasing exceptional progress.

Remarkably, 100% of Maxim's students have attained a Merit or Distinction rate in their Grade exams, coupled with victories in piano competitions across the UK. Notably, one of his private students recently secured Third Prize at the Alderley Edge Festival, judged by Timothy Barratt.

Maxim warmly welcomes students of all levels and ages, starting from 6 years old, to experience a lesson with him.

Recognising the uniqueness of each student, Maxim believes in tailoring his approach to meet individual needs. For instance, with adult students, he emphasises the use of imagination in music while helping them understand the composer's style in their performed works. However, he acknowledges that such an approach may not be suitable for teaching young pianists.

Above all, Maxim strives to instil a love for music and the piano itself in his students, placing significant importance on finding the right approach to engage and captivate young learners from the outset. In his classes, students not only find enjoyment but also derive substantial benefits.

For Maxim, teaching is not merely about fostering the development of a student as a pianist; it is an opportunity to enhance his own skills as a pianist, teacher, and artist.
