Max Ferruzzi

As an Economics student at the University of Bath, with A grades in both A-Level Maths and Economics, I understand first-hand the challenges students face and what it takes to succeed in these subjects. Having recently completed my own A-Levels, I am familiar with current exam specifications, common misconceptions and the techniques that lead to strong exam performance.
I also have experience tutoring an A-Level Maths student over the course of a year. Seeing their confidence and understanding grow made me realise how rewarding teaching can be, and inspired me to help more students achieve their academic goals.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. During our first session, I'll identify strengths, areas for improvement and any specific goals, whether that's boosting confidence, preparing for exams or aiming for top grades. Lessons combine clear explanations with worked examples, guided practice and exam-style questions to ensure students not only understand the content but can apply it under exam conditions.
I believe the best way to learn Maths and Economics is by developing genuine understanding rather than simply memorising methods. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence at their own pace.
