Matthew Fullerton

I am a passionate and enthused linguist who is able to teach Spanish and Italian to a large variety of people for a large variety of purposes. I am passionate about the process of learning a language and breaking the communication barrier between cultures. I am soon beginning my final year of a Modern Foreign Languages degree at a reputable university here in Manchester, specialising in Spanish and hispanic studies. During my time in compulsory education I studied 3 languages to GCSE (French, Spanish and Italian) and 2 languages to A Level (Spanish and Italian). I speak Spanish with fluency visiting Spain frequently due to my family ties to the country. I speak Italian confidently in day to day interactions, I am extremely passionate about the country of Italy and the culture that it offers.

During the classes I will use carefully created and accurate resources to encourage the natural learning of a foreign language, basing the classes around real life conversations and situations, but also adapting classes for different levels and approaches to learning. The study of the language doesn't just stop at the end of the class but I am able to provide a wide range of resources for additional learning outside the classes if required.

For learners of Spanish I can offer tuition for GCSE and A Level Students in all 4 disciplines (reading, writing, speaking and listening) as well as teach cultural context. Furthermore, I can offer Spanish classes for people wanting to learn from complete beginners all the way up to upper intermediate with any age range. I can also provide conversation practice up to a C1 level.
For learners of Italian I can offer tuition for GCSE as well as tuition from beginners up to intermediate levels, ideal for if you're going travelling or going on holiday. Hope to hear from you soon!
