I will personalise my methods for each student and what they respond to. I will use online video calls to best communicate with students as well as use many other methods such as flash cards, mind maps, Harvard notes and blurting to try and get the most out of the student. I will happily focus on weak areas within the syllabus as well as new things covered recently they may not understand. I am looking for history and ancient history students at mainly the GCSE level as I achieved a 7 (A) in the former and a 8 (A*) in the latter at GCSE and can also teach A level Ancient history which I received an A grade at A level myself. As far as the structure of my lessons go I will start with memory recall from previous sessions, (first sessions will be structured differently) subsequently I will then move on to recap with them any lessons that they have had at school to ensure their understanding in new material. I will then go over any areas that we have previously identified as a weakness using the various revision methods previously mentioned and more, this will be the main bulk of the session. The to finish we will play some form of memory recall game with all previously covered topic/ all course topics in one to allow for a fun efficient way to learn and relearn the whole course.
