I have an initial, thorough conversation with the student to see what their learning needs are, what they would like to ultimately get out of the sessions and plan accordingly. I also take this opportunity to find out what type of learner the student is and ensure that my teaching style is effective in future lessons.

I am very friendly and always encourage questions. As a tutor, it is my duty at the end of the lesson to assess whether lesson material has been learnt properly and that the students have no lingering questions or doubts after each session.
