Maria Sofia

I have been teaching English for 7 years. I have been working in language schools and I have been giving one- on-one lessons for 7 years. I have taught young learners, teenagers and adults. I have strong communication skills and I always try to build rapport with my students. I hold a CELTA and I am an enthusiastic teacher who inspires enthusiasm. I like working in a team environment and I get along well with other people. I follow the communicative method in my lessons, which means that my lessons are fun and interactive and my students have the chance to develop their oral skills. In my lessons we learn English by exploring interesting topics and discussing about them. My students also read stories and literature and watch short films that help them acquire new vocabulary.
