I am a teacher with eight years of classroom experience. My lessons are structured, encouraging and adapted to each child’s ability, interests and learning goals.
I currently teach children through a CEFR A2–B1 English programme, developing speaking, listening, reading and writing alongside grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and critical thinking. I use pupil and activity books, digital resources and exam-style practice to make lessons varied and purposeful.
My lessons are suitable for children aged 8–13, broadly covering Key Stages 2 and 3 in England. CEFR A2–B1 describes a learner’s English proficiency rather than an exact National Curriculum level, so lessons are tailored to the individual child. I can also support schoolwork or topics supplied by parents.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes a warm-up, clear teaching, guided practice, independent work and supportive feedback. When helpful, I can explain difficult points in Arabic or Darija.
I make sure students feel confident in themselves by helping them love the language first. I usually challenge them to communicate creatively and think critically, and I also genuinely prepare them to succeed in external examinations, including PTE Young Learners and Cambridge English Qualifications.
