I focus on students' weaknesses in understanding and application. I teach primarily using application, working through essays step by step and explaining my reasoning, creating detailed essay plans. I try to fill in gaps of knowledge and encourage my students to use active recall in order to remember key facts and dates. I set my students homework essays to complete before the next lesson and run through them at the start of the next lesson in order to ensure the student is effectively writing essays. I provide a tried and tested formula to write effective Politics, Economics and Psychology essays to gain maximum marks. I have extensive experience teaching Politics, Economics and Psychology and my students usually improve within a few lessons. I have had student jump from Cs to As and A*s using my methods. I am a university student, who has outstanding qualifications in GCSEs and A-Levels. I have been teaching for over 2 years, with multiple students, teaching 11+, GCSE Maths, Sciences and Art as well as A-level Politics, Economics and Psychology. I have extensive resources in order to help students to achieve top grades. My students have improved 3 grades on average achieving mostly 8s and 9s in GCSE and As and A*s in A-levels.
