Ciao! I am a secondary MFL teacher with 5+ years of experience in the field. I currently prepare students for the MYP Diploma, the IB Diploma and the GCSE qualification (old and new specifications).

My lessons follow a communicative approach: after a starter exercise, we delve into the topic of the day with a mix of exercises aimed at strengthening all kills equally (listening, reading, writing...
Ciao! I am a secondary MFL teacher with 5+ years of experience in the field. I currently prepare students for the MYP Diploma, the IB Diploma and the GCSE qualification (old and new specifications).

My lessons follow a communicative approach: after a starter exercise, we delve into the topic of the day with a mix of exercises aimed at strengthening all kills equally (listening, reading, writing and speaking). My lessons are 95% in the target language, this is to boost listening comprehension and spoken production as much as possible. In every lesson, there is always a cultural element that will allow you to explore an aspect of the countries' heritage where your language of study is currently spoken.

I can tutor in Latin (KS3), French (KS3-4), Spanish (KS3-5) and Italian (KS3-university).

She was a dedicated teacher always putting in effort to ensure that our lessons were tailored to each of us. She went above and beyond especially in teaching us about the culture of Italy. Mrs Giglione is a fantastic teacher, she not only is a great at how she explains and helps us understand whatever language it is that she is teaching but she is enthusiastic and fun with the way she goes about this, enticing us and imploring us as students to enjoy every aspect of the lessons whether we be learning about verb endings, vocabulary or connectives Mrs Giglione finds a way to make it interesting. She made me fall in love with Italian and I will forever be grateful for it.
