Manuel Oliva

I am an experienced Social Worker and Spanish Teacher. I consider my experience in both, social services and teaching have prepared me very well to excel in the teaching field. As a social worker I have worked with a culturally diverse population, led me to develop effective cross-cultural communication strategies that can be translated to the classroom environment. Once more, understanding cultural differences between students and myself allows for a better design of the class structure, focusing on their strengths for a successful learning experience.

I have taught the Spanish language at all levels. This has allowed me to explore different teaching methods and techniques, consolidating my teaching style and maximizing my students' learning potential.
