First I begin with a starter which may include past lesson topics to refresh memories or questions to lead into the main topic.
Afterwards I explain what the lesson will be about and do a demonstration of solving the maths question after which we will practice some question to ensure you have grasped the method to solve the questions. We will then move in to harder, higher grade questions.
When I tutor my brother in English language I begin with learning high-level vocabulary which can enhance one's writing then move onto writing techniques such as punctuation and sentence structures. Then I finish the lesson with a writing practice attempting to include what they have learnt in that lesson.
Once we have mastered writing we move into the first four questions of the language paper 1 and focus on analysing.
After we have finished paper 1 we move onto paper 2.
