Maja Borciuch

My name is Maja Borciuch and I'm a Psychology gradutate with focus on Educational Development (and survivor of the Psychology A-Level!). I'm a bilingual Polish and English speaker and I have a broad range of experience in academic writing. My lessons are focussed on building a rapport and identifying an appropriate pathway to push grades (and most importantly, genuine understanding and interest) up to the highest level possible. I want to get to know you in order to build a plan together! This is the really only way to really reach for the highest marks - by developing the critical analysis skills to fully grasp the content you have been set. And (luckily) I'm here to help you so you don't have to figure it out alone.

My lessons focus on:
1. Deconstructing tricky or confusing areas into small, manageable chunks
2. Making note of the way the exams you're taking are structured in order to adapt lesson plans
3. Tailoring an approach which works for YOU and the way in which you learn best
4. Importantly, LEARNING which style of revision works for you and helping you plan for further independent study!

To reiterate, the most vital element is to adapt to an individual's way of retaining information and understanding the content and addressing any gaps in knowledge as efficiently as possible, without dragging the process out into too many sessions. Little and often is the key to impressive finishing grades and my goal is to get you to the upper bounds of your potential!
