I adapt my lessons depending on the age and level of the student. For children I make exercises look like games so they can have fun while learning French, I really think it helps to motivate them and to learn easily. For adults or older students in school I create exercises which are more academic-like. I also want the students to practice in every category: speaking, listening, grammar, reading and writing. I think it is really important to have a variety of different types of exercises in order to learn a language faster.
I also listen to the student’s requests and needs: if they need to focuse more on grammar for example, then i will create more grammar exercises for them. Furthermore, if they are preparing for a particular exam, I will create lessons and exercises based around the format of the exam.
Even if I do not have experience in tutoring officially, I have always loved helping my friends and classmates out in French while in school, as i have always loved to teach people my language and how to improve. I would be delighted to teach students of any age and level, as i can easily adapt and create new exercises for the students I will teach. I am really looking forward to meeting enthusiastic students and help and encourage them in the process of learning French as much as I can. I am really eager to share my knowledge and love for my language and cannot wait to teach it.
